We bumped up our session time to avoid the impending tropical storm Colin that ended up giving us a beautiful cloudy sky! I happen to love a cloudy sky for sessions and it worked out just perfectly for our starting location, the newly revitalized Colonial Lake. It’s so beautiful there! Go check it out if you haven’t seen what they’ve done to it yet. It’s been closed for almost a year but just this weekend they opened it back up to the public. It’s hard to even picture what it used to be. 

This family wanted to document their adorable 6 month old baby girl and we had such a nice session strolling through this quiet residential area of Downtown Charleston!
