My tagline as you know is, FRESH.CREATIVE.FUN! Lately, I’ve really been trying to make sure I live up to that tagline and incorporate all three of those words into each and every session. The hardest of the 3 is actually the ‘creative’ one.  Sometimes I see it just before it happens, sometimes I plan for it, and sometimes, I didn’t even realize it happened until I’m at home culling through photos. Sometimes, I’ll tell the client, excuse me for a minute, I’m just getting a creative shot over here b/c sometimes it means I’m hiding in the bushes or bent over some weird way while taking their photos. Below are some examples of what I think are creative shots/angles from almost all the types of sessions I do. Maternity, Family, Newborn, Family and maternity combo.

I love it when a client chooses my ‘creative shot’ as one they want from their session. It makes me feel like they totally share in my vision and chose me to photograph them for the exact reasons I wanted them to!

For the rest of 2013, I’m really going to work hard on the creative shots. I feel like it keeps me challenged and gets me excited while culling through sessions.

I truly hope that when clients get the link to their galleries, they can see all 3  and finish their gallery feeling they got photos that were absolutely FRESH.CREATIVE.FUN!!!
