When the sun, wind and pelicans work together, it’s just magic. This family came all the way from NYC! We had such a pleasant evening on the beach. The heat seemed to disappear with the ocean breeze.

Lately, I’ve had a lot of clients saying how much they love my candid style, but they need direction. It may not be obvious, but almost every candid moment you see me post is actually set up so I guess technically, it’s directed candid. I make sure you’re standing in good light, tell you what to do(where to place hands arms, etc), then I stand back and let it happen. You don’t have to worry about what to do in front of the camera, my job is to help you with that, and as long as you don’t worry about looking at the camera and just be in the moment with your family..bam, magic!

So if you’re worried, you’ll be a fish out of water at a session like this, Don’t!! They’re actually quite fun +easy and once we’re done, you won’t even feel like you endured a photo session, but rather just a fun time hangin’ with your family!
