Est. 2012 Tickled Blue Fresh. Creative. Fun

End of Summer Beach Fun-{charleston sc family photographer}

 My oldest starts Kindergarten tomorrow, so we took the kids to the beach for one last summer splash. I think it was the most fun I’ve had at the beach with them. I brought my camera not really sure if I’d get it out, but as the sun began to set, I started snapping away. I’m so thankful for these photos. They have to be my favorite of my kids so far, just playing, having fun in the water, with not a single care in the world. In one photo of my daughter, she has her board and her lip poked out because she had just said to us ‘No help me, I do it by myself’! I love her little 2 year old self. She’s so much like me! She’s feisty, daring, hilarious, fun and the most adorable little curly blonde headed thing I’ve ever seen. Easton has been in love with the beach since he first put his toes in the sand. He’s got this sun bleached thick blonde hair, green eyes, and perfectly tanned skin. I look at him sometimes and wonder how we made such a beautiful boy. He’s adventurous and loves to do just about anything, especially if it involves water.

To top it all off, after the sun had set and the moon was up, the sky did this incredible thing. I don’t really know how to describe it except it was like seeing a rainbow, but better! Check it out below…

OH and ps, if you’re up for a session at the beach just like this, playing with your kids in the water instead of trying to stay out of it, PLEASE let me know. Even if its just at the end of your session, photos like these will capture your heart and years from now, there’s no doubt they’ll take you right back to the very day you did this with your kids. And maybe they’ll remember it too!
