A studio space.
It’s something that always seemed farfetched for me and quite honestly I never really thought I needed. Once I began doing newborns using a beanbag, I quickly realized it sure would be nice to have consistent light, no obstacles or unfamiliar spaces, & less travel with a car full of wraps/heater/beanbag/etc.
A cozy little space is all I really needed so I began looking.and looking.and looking. Nothing seemed right. Windows too small, way out of budget, too far from home etc etc, until one gloomy Friday when I looked at the space that will be the new tickled blue home. I knew as soon as I stepped inside that it might be the space for me. Work, oh it needed a little tlc(thank you hubby), but what it is now is a place to call mine. A quaint little space on the 2nd floor in a lovely area called Avondale. Yes, Avondale, the most adorable stretch of shops and restaurants in West Ashley! I never would’ve thought it possible, but here it is. It’s small, yes, quaint, I like to say, but such a perfect little space for my business at the stage I’m in right now. I’m so proud and ‘tickled’ to call it mine.
So what exactly will happen here? Mostly newborn sessions. All of my fresh and simple newborn sessions will now be done here rather than at your homes for a reduced rate than it was. I will still come to clients for lifestyle newborns, but will no longer do that for the simple sessions.
I’ll also use this space to photograph baby bumps in a simple little way. Still offering outdoor maternity, but for those only wanting a few of the bump, I’ll offer studio maternity at a reduced rate. The space is very close to the greenway, so adding on a bit of outdoor is always an option too!
In addition to the bump, I’ll use this space to photograph baby milestones!! Again, I’ll still do the outdoor milestones on location, but this space will be just perfect for the earlier milestones (like 3-6 months especially) but really for any indoor milestone you want captured.
I’ll be doing a round of studio minis soon so check back for more on that!
Here’s an update on my pricing as well. These rates may change after a few months, but this is what I’m offering right now:

Hello! Congratulations on the TickeledBlue Space!
I was curious do you use a normal lounge around bean bag or a professional posing beanbag. As a just starting out photographer I dont have very much money to spend on a posing beanbag and was wondering of a lounge around one would suffice?
Thank you in advance!
