‘The most beautiful things in life are not things. They’re people and places and memories and pictures.
They’re feelings and moments and smiles and laughter.” -author unknown
I’ve always been a reminiscer.
Lately I find myself looking through not just old photos but old things as I clean out junk drawers with full intentions of cleaning but then…. I get stuck…reminiscing.
I laugh at some of my old ‘point and shoot’ photos as I was using that self timer like nobody’s business way before ‘selfies’ were a thing. I guess mine were more like ‘groupies’ b/c I’d gather whoever I was with, set that bad boy up on timer and run back to join the group before the timer went off.
Now I can’t stand a selfie!
Even though we are cooped up, we can still take all the photos, even if we aren’t out at some wonderful place but just at home or our own backyard.
These last 6 weeks have been a bundle of every emotion, but look at us all…we are still standing and I think I can maybe even see some light at the end of this.
So let’s keep going, feel the feelings, take the pictures, scream into the pillows once or twice a day and just keep going.
