Fall Family Photo Shoot-{charleston sc family photographer}

As we get closer to Christmas, the red comes out in photo shoots and I just love it! Red this time of year photographs so great with the shining sun. Even without sun, something about downtown Charleston and red look so festive together.  Check out one of my favorite long time Tickled Blue families! An 18 month old and almost 3 year old are not the easiest ages to photograph, but look at these peeks! So many favorites of this family and possibly my favorite shoot with them yet!!! 🙂

While I had a perfect Sunday that ended with this fun family shoot, I woke up to the awful news out of Vegas. Everyday something more terrible than before seems to happen somewhere across the world. This time, Vegas and country music fans. As I sat at my computer this morning editing and getting this peek ready this song came on my playlist by the Head and the Heart. The lyrics just so fitting for the news we are all affected by today:

Another story:

I see a world
A world turning in on itself
Are we just like
Hungry wolves howling in the night
I don’t want no music tonight

Can we go on like it once was

Every time I hear another story
Oh the poor boy lost his head
Everybody feels a little crazy
But we go on living with it
Yeah they go on living with it

These are just flames
Burning in your fireplace
I hear your voice and it seems
As if it was all a dream
I wish it was all a dream

Can we go on like it once was
Can we go on like it once was

Every time I hear another story
Oh the poor boy lost his head
Everybody feels a little crazy
But we go on living with it
Yeah they go on living with it

I’ll tell you one thing
We ain’t gonna change much
The sun still rises
Even with the pain

I’ll tell you one thing
We ain’t gonna change love
The sun still rises
Even through the rain

-The Head and the Heart

ps. their music is amazing! If you like folk rock, even if you don’t, go hear one of their songs and I bet you’ll be an instant fan!! Some of my favorites of theirs: Let’s be still, lost in my head, down in the valley, all we ever knew!
